Khulna: A joint forces team apprehended a youth in the early hours today at a residential hotel under Sonadanga Thana, recovering arms, ammunition, and Yaba tablets from his possession.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the operation was led by a joint team consisting of the Navy, Coast Guard, and police at Hotel Z N Palace in the Sonadanga Thana area. The arrested individual, identified as Nazimuddin Belal, is the son of the late Kamruddin Khan and resides in the city’s Choto Boyra area.
Authorities seized a foreign-made pistol, five bullets, and 476 Yaba tablets during the operation. The suspect has been handed over to the Sonadanga police station, and a case has been filed in connection with the incident.
