Chapainawabganj: Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested an alleged drug peddler with 492 bottles of phensidyl from Shibganj upazila of the district last night. The arrested individual was identified as Habibur Rahman, 20, a resident of Biapalpara under Paba upazila in Rajshahi district. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the operation team of RAB-5 from Chapainawabganj camp conducted a raid in the Fatakpur area of the upazila around 8:50 pm, acting on a tip-off. During the operation, Habibur was apprehended with the phensidyl in his possession, a RAB official stated. Subsequently, the elite force handed him over to the police at Shibganj Police Station.
