DHAKA: The 6th China-Ambassador Cup Washu competition is set to commence tomorrow at the Army Stadium Multipurpose Shade in Banani, as announced in a press release. This eagerly anticipated event will span two days and promises to be a significant occasion for martial arts enthusiasts and practitioners in the region. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Brigadier General Md Humayun Kabir, chairman of the army sports regulation board, is expected to inaugurate the competition as the chief guest. The event is sponsored by the Embassy of China in Bangladesh and organized by the Bangladesh Washu Federation (BWF). In addition to the chief guest, Li Shaopeng, Cultural Counselor of the Embassy of China in Bangladesh, will grace the opening ceremony with his presence. The opening ceremony will be presided over by BWF acting president Sheikh Efaz Ahmed, while general secretary Dulal Hossain will conduct the proceedings. The competition will witness participation from nearly two hundred players and officials rep resenting various esteemed organizations, including the Bangladesh Army, Border Guard Bangladesh, Bangladesh Police, and Bangladesh Post Office.
