Dinajpur: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-13 seized 259 bottles of phensedyl-like ESKuf syrup and arrested an alleged drug dealer from village Dakshin Gobindapur under Kotwali police station of Dinajpur district on Tuesday afternoon.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a team from RAB-13's Crime Prevention Company (CPC)-1, stationed at the Dinajpur Camp, conducted a raid at the specified location. Acting on a tip-off, the team successfully seized the contraband drugs and arrested the suspect at 1:50 pm.
The arrested individual has been identified as Md Mozammel Haque, 45, son of Md Neyamuddin, both residents of the same village in Dinajpur district. After the seizure, a case was filed, and the elite force transferred the suspect and the confiscated drugs to the Kotwali police station in Dinajpur for further legal proceedings.
