Kathmandu: Jhapa Football Club (FC) has defeated Dhangadhi FC in the match held today under the second edition of the Nepal Super League football tournament.
In the match held this evening at Dashrath Stadium, Jhapa scored a brace to defeat Dhangadi 2-0. Anjan Bista and Samiraj Thokar scored for Jhapa in the 53rd and 77th minute of the game respectively.
However, in the 79th minute of the game, Jhapa was limited to 10 players after Dhiraj Thajali received a red card for a foul on Simon Limbu.
With this win, Jhapa has climbed to the fourth position in the points table with 10 points in seven games. Similarly, with the loss today, Dhangadhi is in second place with 12 points from seven matches.
