No Security Threat Over Victory Day Celebrations, Confirms Home Affairs Adviser.

Dhaka: Home Affairs Adviser Lieutenant General (retd) Md Jahangir Alam Chowdhury announced today that there is no anticipated security threat to the law and order situation during the upcoming Victory Day celebrations. “By the grace of Allah, there is no security threat to the law and order situation of the country on the Victory Day, as the day is not for any particular group or individual, but rather the day belongs to all people of the country,” he stated.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the adviser made these comments while addressing journalists after a meeting at the ministry’s conference room this afternoon, which focused on the overall security measures and law-order situation ahead of Victory Day. He emphasized that the discussions during the meeting confirmed there are no current issues related to law and order.

The home adviser urged all relevant parties to implement necessary measures to ensure smooth vehicular movement on Victory Day. He also highlighted the importance of maintaining
uniformity in the colour and shape of the national flag across all locations.

To commemorate the day, all parties involved have been instructed to hold meetings in accordance with the guidelines and standards established by the government. Senior officials from law enforcement agencies were in attendance at the meeting.
