A fire that broke out on Saturday at Sikder Garments Factory in Rupganj upazila in Narayanganj has been brought under control.
The fire started on the second and third floors of the three-storied building around 9:01 pm.
On information, eight units of firefighters rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control at 10:45pm, said Md Shahjahan Shikdar, Deputy assistant director (media cell) of Fire Service and Civil Defense.
Fortunately, no casualties were reported from the fire yet, said the fire service official.
The origin of the fire and damages from it are yet to be known, he added.
