New Secretaries Appointed to Education, Food, and Statistics Ministries

Dhaka: The government has appointed new secretaries to two ministries and one division. In a move to streamline administrative functions, the Public Administration Ministry issued separate notifications today regarding these appointments.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Sakhawat Hossain, who was previously serving as an additional secretary in the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, has been promoted to the position of secretary of the same ministry. This change comes as part of a broader reshuffle within the government’s administrative structure.



Further changes include the transfer of Abu Taher Md Masud Rana, the current secretary of the Primary and Mass Education Ministry, to the Ministry of Food. Meanwhile, Firoz Sarkar, who has been serving as the secretary of the Food Ministry, has been appointed as the secretary of the Statistics and Informatics Division. These appointments are expected to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of these governmental bodies.
