NCP Leaders Call on Visiting Bhutanese PM

Dhaka: National Citizen Party (NCP) leaders called on visiting Bhutanese Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay at a city hotel this morning. A three-member delegation led by NCP Convener Nahid Islam met the Bhutanese PM, as stated by the Chief Adviser’s Press Wing.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the meeting between the NCP leaders and the Bhutanese Prime Minister focused on strengthening bilateral relations. The discussions encompassed various aspects of cooperation between the two countries, including trade and cultural exchanges. The NCP delegation expressed their interest in enhancing ties with Bhutan, emphasizing the need for collaborative efforts in different sectors.



The Bhutanese Prime Minister acknowledged the warm reception and expressed his willingness to work closely with Bangladeshi leaders. The meeting concluded with both parties agreeing to explore further opportunities for mutual benefit.
