Dhaka: Md. Abdur Rahman Khan, Secretary of the Internal Resources Division (IRD) and Chairman of the National Board of Revenue (NBR), visited the Pangaon Customs House in Dhaka today. The NBR Chairman also instructed officials to expedite auction procedures for the quick disposal of auctionable and damageable goods currently at the port. He commended Pangaon Customs for successfully depositing all revenues into the government treasury via A-Chalan since June 23, 2025, highlighting the crucial role of customs houses as centers of trade facilitation.
Rahman directed the officials to prioritize national interests and remain fully committed to their duties.
