Navy Ships to Welcome Visitors for Independence Day Celebrations

Dhaka: Bangladesh Navy will open its ships at different places across the country for the visitors to mark the Independence and National Day tomorrow.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a release from the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Directorate stated that a total of six ships will be accessible to the public. The ships are strategically located across various regions to allow maximum public participation in the celebrations.



BNDB Gangchil will be stationed at Dhaka Sadarghat, while BNS Atandra will be available for viewing at the Pagla Naval Unit Naval Berth in Narayanganj. In Chattogram, visitors can explore the BNS Samuddra Obhijan at the Naval Berth. BNS Shaheed Akhter Uddin will be open to the public at the BIWTA Rocket Terminal in Khulna. Additionally, BNS Abu Bakar will be at the Digraj Naval Berth in Mongla, and BNS Odamya will be stationed at Barishal BIWTA Ghat.



The ships will be open for visitation from 9am until just before sunset, around 4pm, as mentioned in the ISPR press release. This initiative allows citizens to engage with the navy’s assets and gain insights into naval operations as part of the Independence and National Day celebrations.
