‘Natun Kuri’ a Big Platform for Children, Adolescents: Info Secy

Dhaka: Information and Broadcasting Secretary Mahbuba Farjana today emphasized the significance of the ‘Natun Kuri’ competition as a substantial platform for unveiling the talents of children and adolescents. “The ministry and BTV authorities are working sincerely to make this competition transparent and inclusive,” she stated during a day-long workshop commemorating the ‘Natun Kuri-2025’ competition held at Tathya Bhaban in the city.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Farjana highlighted the transformative role that the ‘Natun Kuri’ competition has played in nurturing talented artistes over the years. She expressed optimism that the competition would continue to be a breeding ground for future talents. She noted that, following the guidance of the Information and Broadcasting Adviser, the ministry and BTV officials are diligently striving to ensure the competition’s success. The involvement of the district administration is deemed crucial in the organizational efforts, she remarked.



Farjana called upon the additional deputy commissioners present at the workshop to extend their cooperation for the smooth execution of the competition. She explained that the workshop’s objective was to formulate an action plan for the effective implementation of the competition and sought the collaboration of all stakeholders to ensure its success.



The workshop also featured addresses from BTV Director General Md. Mahbubul Alam and Deputy Director General Mohammad Rokon Uddin, among others.
