National University and AQA Global Partner to Digitalize Exam System

Gazipur:National University (NU) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the UK-based AQA Global to modernize its examination and assessment system by integrating more technology.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the MoU aims to digitalize various stages of examination management, enhancing the accuracy and efficiency of assessments and introducing internationally recognized practices. The agreement was signed at the Vice-Chancellor's office conference room on the NU campus in Gazipur.

The collaboration will involve reviewing and modernizing different stages of the university's examination administration and assessment system. The focus will be on increasing the use of technology to ensure transparency, accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.

NU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. ASM Amanullah emphasized the importance of maximizing technology to handle the large number of students at the university. He stated that the university aims to make the examination process faster, more accurate, and transparent, reducing human error through technology.

AQA Global's Director of International Business, Sean Crowley, expressed enthusiasm about working with NU and applying international experience to modernize the university's system.

The signing event was attended by NU Pro-Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. Mohammad Ali Jinnah, Treasurer Prof Dr. Md Nazmul Hossain, Registrar Molla Mahfuz Al-Hossain, and AQA Global Country Director for Bangladesh and Nepal, Shaheen Reza, among others.
