National Team’s Camp to Begin May 31 in Dhaka for AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers

Dhaka: The national football team training camp is set to commence on May 31 in Dhaka, preparing for the AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027 qualifiers home match against Singapore. The match is scheduled to take place on June 10 in Dhaka.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the decision was made during the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) National Teams Committee’s inaugural meeting held at the BFF Bhaban. The meeting was attended by National Teams Committee’s Chairman and BFF President Tabith Awal, Deputy Chairman and BFF Senior Vice President Md Imrul Hasan, along with other committee members.

Additionally, the meeting resolved to organize an international friendly match for the national football team on June 5. This match will serve as part of the team’s preparation for the upcoming home match against Singapore.

The AFC U-23 Asian Cup 2026 qualifiers are scheduled from September 1-9. The BFF has proposed to the Asian Football Confederation the possibility of hosting the tournament at the National
Stadium in Dhaka.
