National Imam Conference on Sunday: Comprehensive Event for Islamic Education and Leadership

Dhaka: The National Hifzul Quran and Seerat Competition and the National Conference of Trained Imams will be held in the city on Sunday. Bangladesh Islamic Foundation is organizing the event at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium here.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Religious Affairs Adviser Dr. A F M Khalid Hossain will be present as the chief guest at the program, while Religious Affairs Secretary AKM Aftab Hossain Pramanik will join as the special guest. The event will be presided over by Abdus Salam Khan, Director General (Senior District and Sessions Judge) of the Bangladesh Islamic Foundation.



The Bangladesh Islamic Foundation has initiated this event with the aim of spreading Islamic education, culture, and values, awakening the morality of the young generation, and achieving excellence in religious leadership. The conference will award nine winners from each of the three groups participating in the national-level Hifzul Quran and Seerat competitions. Additionally, among the trained imams, three best imams at the national level, 24 at the divisional level, 192 imams at the district level, and 64 best imams involved in farming will be given cash, crests, and certificates.



The first prize of the Hifzul Quran competition has been set at Taka 2 lakh, the second at Taka 1.5 lakh, and the third prize at Taka 1 lakh. The first prize in the Seerat competition is Taka 50 thousand, while the second is Taka 45 thousand, and the third is Taka 40 thousand. Cash, crests, and certificates will also be given to the best imams and farm imams.



Through this event, the Islamic Foundation is expected to play a leading role in Islamic education, Quran Hifz and Seerat practice, religious leadership development, and values awakening in the country.
