UAE: Fast bowler Nahid Rana and left-arm spinner Nasum Ahmed are scheduled to join the Bangladesh cricket team in the United Arab Emirates tomorrow after resolving visa issues. Despite other team members arriving in two separate groups earlier this week, Nahid and Nasum remained in Bangladesh due to these complications. A Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) official confirmed that they received their visas today and are scheduled to depart at 10 a.m. tomorrow. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Bangladesh's cricket team has already begun their three-match One Day International series against Afghanistan. In the first match, the team suffered a 92-run defeat following a dramatic batting collapse, losing seven wickets for 11 runs while chasing a 236-run target. This series marks Nahid Rana's first call-up to the ODI squad, while Nasum Ahmed makes his return following the 2023 World Cup in India.
