Gazipur: The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) today arrested Tongi Pilot School and Girls College principal Md. Alauddin, a convict in multiple murder cases linked to the 2024 July uprising. Major Ahnaf of RAB-1 confirmed the arrest.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, RAB sources stated that Alauddin was allegedly involved in the killing of several students during the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement in 2024. He is also accused of playing a key role in the violent suppression of the protests in Gazipur, which culminated in the fall of the fascist Sheikh Hasina government on August 5.
