Patuakhali: A motorcyclist was killed in a road accident on the Tin Matha road near Chapli Bazar under Kalapara upazila this morning. The victim has been identified as Abdul Quddus, 40, son of Saheb Ali Howlader, from Nayakata village in the upazila.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the accident occurred when a motorbike collided head-on with an easy bike, resulting in critical injuries to the motorbike rider, Quddus. Tariqul Islam, Officer-in-Charge of Mohipur Police Station, reported that Quddus was immediately rushed to Kalapara Hospital. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries while being transferred to Barisal Shebachim Hospital.
