Habiganj: A motorcycle rider lost his life and another individual was injured when a truck collided with their motorcycle at Noapara under Madhabpur upazila in Habiganj district.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the deceased has been identified as Sushil Das Pramanik, 38, a resident of the area and a worker at a local factory. The tragic accident occurred around 8:30 am on the Dhaka-Sylhet highway. A truck traveling in the opposite direction struck the motorcycle, resulting in the immediate death of Sushil Das Pramanik at the scene and injuring the pillion rider.
Officer-in-Charge of Shayestaganj Highway Police Station, Shuvo Ranjan Chakma, confirmed the details of the incident. The injured individual was promptly transported to Madhabpur Upazila Health Complex for medical treatment.
