Dhaka: All examinations at Dhaka University from September 28 to October 9 have been postponed on the occasion of Sharadiya Durga Puja, Fateha-e-Yazdaham, Probarana Purnima, and Lakshmi Puja. This decision aims to accommodate students celebrating these significant festivals.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, this information was revealed through a notification signed by the University’s Acting Controller of Examinations, Dr. Himadri Shekhar Chakrabarti. The notification stated that, following instructions from the Ministry of Education and the University Grants Commission, all examinations scheduled during this period across all departments, institutes, and affiliated colleges of Dhaka University have been postponed.
The notification emphasized that the postponement is intended to help students celebrate Durga Puja, Vijaya Dashami, Fateha-e-Yazdaham, Probarana Purnima, and Lakshmi Puja in a festive atmosphere. The university has assured students that a new schedule for the postponed exams will be announced in due time.
