According to United News of Bangladesh, the appointment was made under Article 10(5) of the Bangladesh Bank Order, 1972. The notification clarified that Mostaqur Rahman is required to sever all employment ties with other institutions and organizations before assuming his duties. His contract with the government will outline the salary, allowances, and other benefits, as well as additional conditions of his appointment.
