Dhaka: Mosquito control chemicals, specifically liquid Malathion and Temephos, have been verified to be 100 percent effective in recent tests, as announced by Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Administrator Abdus Salam. The tests were conducted by the Institute of Epidemiology Disease Control and Research in collaboration with the Department of Agricultural Extension. During the inauguration of a training program for mosquito supervisors and workers at Nagar Bhaban, Salam emphasized the need for proper application of these chemicals in the field to benefit city residents.
