Month-long Trade Fair Commences at Datta High School Grounds in Netrakona

Netrakona: A month-long textile, cottage industry, and trade fair began today at the playground of Datta High School in Joynagar of the poura town here. The event was inaugurated by the General Secretary of Netrakona Press Club, Mahbubul Kibria Chowdhury Helim, who attended as the chief guest. The fair is organized by Netrakona Central Cooperative Bank Limited.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the inauguration ceremony was presided over by Mokhlesur Rahman Khan Khasru, the Chairman of Netrakona Central Cooperative Bank and a member of the district BNP convening committee. The event was moderated by Saif Uddin Ahmed Lelin, the president of the District Weavers’ Party.



The ceremony featured speeches from various notable figures, including district BNP joint convener SM Moniruzzaman Dudu, district Weavers’ Party general secretary Faruk Mir, and National Citizens’ Committee central organizer Pritam Sohag. Other speakers included National Citizens’ Committee Central Member Fahim Rahman Khan Pathan, Khilafat Youth Movement Central Committee assistant secretary general Gazi Abdur Rahim, Revolutionary Workers’ Party general secretary Sajeeb Sarkar Ratan, and Sramik Kalyan Federation president Maulana Kamal Uddin, who attended as special guests.
