Magura: Member Secretary of BNP, Magura district unit Monowar Hossain Khan today called upon leaders and activists to remain united, setting aside internal differences, to ensure victory for the 'Sheaf of Paddy' symbol in the forthcoming national elections. 'The people now want change and the restoration of democracy, which can only be achieved through the sacrifice and collective efforts of dedicated party workers,' he said.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Monowar made the call while addressing a brief rally after joining a joyous procession upon receiving the party's primary nomination for the Magura-1 constituency. He emphasized that the restoration of democracy in the country is possible by following the ideals of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman and under the leadership of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman.
Leaders and activists of the district and upazila units of the BNP were present at the rally, demonstrating their support for Monowar's call for unity and collective effort.
