Bandarban: Moha Pinda Dana, one of the sacred religious festivals of the Buddhist community, was held today in the town. In the early morning, about three hundred Buddhist monks brought out a rally from Rajguru Bouddha Vihara, which paraded through different streets of the town. Later, they received Pinda Dana (food offering) from locals.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, hundreds of devotees, including Bhomang community king Uch Pru, Chattogram Regional Parishad member Keyasmong, and Rajguru Bouddha Vihara managing committee president Rajkumar Mong Oye Pru, participated in the event and offered food to the monks.
Special prayers were also offered at the monastery, seeking peace and prosperity for the nation as well as global harmony.
