Taslima Chowdhury,vice-president of the
ruling party’s women front Bangladesh Mohila Awami League (AL), passed away
on Thursday.
She was 85.
She left behind two sons, a daughter and a host of relatives and admirers to
mourn her death.
Awami League (AL) General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister
Obaidul Quader expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of former
vice-president of Bangladesh Mohila AL Taslima Chowdhury.
In a condolence message, Quader prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul
and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family, said a press release,
signed by AL Office Secretary Barrister Biplab Barua.
