However, they bounced back with an overwhelming 6-0 victory over Chittagong Abahani Limited in their second group match. The sky-blue Dhanmondi outfit Abahani Limited began the tournament on a strong note with a 3-0 triumph over Chittagong Abahani Limited. Meanwhile, Fakirerpool suffered a massive 6-0 defeat to Rahmatganj in their group opening match, and Chittagong Abahani Limited have lost both their group matches. The port city team experienced a 3-0 defeat to Abahani Limited Dhaka and a 6-0 defeat to Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited.
