Dhaka: Mohakhali Ekadosh and Badda Jagoroni Sangsad emerged victorious in their respective matches during the Senior Division Football League held at the Birshreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Mohakhali Ekadosh triumphed over Swadhinata Tarun Sangha with a narrow 4-3 win. Mashrafe Islam was pivotal for Mohakhali with two goals scored in the 61st and 66th minutes. Teammates Ali Nahiyan and Rasel Hosen contributed one goal each, finding the net in the 46th and 48th minutes. On the other side, Swadhinata Tarun Sangha’s Md Shohan delivered two goals in the 6th and 69th minutes, while Ismail Hossain scored in the 60th minute.
In another closely contested match, Badda Jagoroni Sangsad also claimed a 4-3 victory against a 10-man Somaj Kollayan O Krira Sangsad Mugda. Shujon Mahoto played a key role in Badda’s success, achieving a hat-trick with goals in the 10th, 55th, and 63rd minutes. Shamim Mia added to the tally with a goal in the 39th minute. For Somaj Kollayan O Krira Sangsad Mugda, Foridul Islam scored twice in the 48th and 80th minutes, and Ali Hasib added a goal in the 72nd minute. The match saw Md Rasel Mia from Somaj Kollayan O Krira Sangsad Mugda receive a red card for unsporting behavior.
