Chattogram: Mobile court has recovered about three and a half Kathas of land of Chattogram district administration worth about taka five crore from illegally occupants. These illegal occupants were evicted from the Uttar Pahartali Mauza Government Khas Land located at AK Khan Junction in the city. Kattali Circle Assistant Commissioner (Land) Arafat Siddiqui led the eviction drive.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, after the operation, all the illegally occupied structures were removed and signboards were placed on three and a half Kathas of land and brought under the control of the government. The market value of the salvaged property is approximately five and a half crore taka. This eviction drive will continue in public interest, he added.
