Sunamganj: A mobile court today imposed fines totaling Taka 14,900 on 14 vehicles for various irregularities in the Iqbal Nagar area along the Sunamganj-Sylhet road.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the fines were administered during a raid aimed at ensuring safe and peaceful travel for passengers returning home after celebrating the holy festival of Eid-ul-Fitr. Assistant Commissioner of the district, Robiur Rayhan, led the mobile court operation. He was accompanied by Shafiqul Islam, the Motor Vehicle Inspector from the Sunamganj Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA), and a team of police officials from the Sadar Police Station.
