Minor Boy Dies, 5 Injured in Satkhira Road Crash

Satkhira: A one-and-a-half-year-old boy lost his life, and five others sustained injuries in a tragic road accident at the Ramchandrapur intersection in the district this morning. The fatal incident unfolded on the Satkhira-Ashasuni road at around 10:30 am when a bus collided with an easy bike traveling in the opposite direction, resulting in injuries to all six passengers aboard the easy bike.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the injured were immediately rushed to Satkhira Sadar Hospital. Unfortunately, the young child, Mostakim, succumbed to his injuries shortly after reaching the medical facility. The child, accompanied by his mother and grandmother, was en route to Satkhira from Srikanthpur village in Paikgacha upazila, Khulna district, to consult a doctor when the accident occurred.



Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Satkhira Sadar Police Station, Shaminul Haque, confirmed the incident. The collision has prompted local authorities to investigate the circumstances surrounding the accident, as the community grapples with the loss and prays for the recovery of the injured individuals.
