Kaliganj: A preparatory meeting to observe the 44th martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman with due solemnity and respect was held at Kaliganj of the district. BNP, Kaliganj upazila unit and municipality unit jointly organized the meeting at the municipality auditorium.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the meeting was presided over by BNP Kaliganj upazila unit convener Mahbubar Rahman. Key figures in attendance included BNP upazila unit senior joint convener Dr. Nurul Islam, joint conveners Saidul Islam and Ilias Rahman Mithu, and BNP municipality unit joint convener Mosharraf Karim.
