Chittagong: A mental health awareness workshop and campaign took place at Bayezid Arefin Nagar, organized by the Moot Court Society of the Law Department at Southern University Bangladesh. This event was in collaboration with Youth Policy Forum and Right Here Right Now.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Marilyn Ahmed Muna, co-founder and CEO of the 'Shono' organization, delivered the keynote address at the workshop. The event was attended by prominent figures, including Professor Mohiuddin Khaled, Registrar AFM Modasher Ali, Head of Department Suraiya Momtaz, alongside other teachers and students.
Marilyn Ahmed Muna highlighted the significance of mental health and shared strategies for achieving mental balance. She also stressed the importance of cultivating a positive mindset through self-awareness.
In addition to the workshop, a campaign was conducted featuring interactive games, quizzes, and awareness activities that addressed various aspects of mental health in an engaging manner. These activities aimed to instill a positive outlook among students, encouraging them to prioritize their mental well-being.
