A civic memorial meeting commemorating Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists (BFUJ) president Ruhul Amin Gazi will be held at Khulna Press Club tomorrow.
Metropolitan Union of Journalists (MUJ), an affiliated unit of BFUJ, will organise the meeting. Secretary General of BFUJ Quader Gani Chowdhury is expected to attend the meeting as the chief guest.
Assistant Secretary General of BFUJ Ehteshamul Haque Shaon will attend the meeting as the prime speaker, while Dhaka Journalists Union (DUJ) president Md Shahidul Islam will attend the event as a special guest.
Leaders of different political parties, professional bodies and journalists’ organizations will also speak in the meeting.
President and Acting General Secretary of MUJ Md Anisuzzaman and Abul Hasan Himaloy today urged stakeholders to attend the memorial meeting.
The courageous journalist leader and noted journalist Ruhul Amin Gazi breathed his last on September 24 while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Dhaka.
