A sensitization meeting was held on Tuesday in the district with a view to prevent HIV/AIDS.
Dhaka Ahsania Mission organised the meeting under the 'Prioritised HIV Prevention and Treatment Services For the Key Population in Bangladesh' programme.
It was held with the civil surgeon of Chapainawabganj Dr Mahmudur Rashid in the chair at his conference room.
Former panel mayor of Chapainawabganj municipality Mst. Moslema Begum, councillor of the same Ziaur Rahman Arman, gyne specialist Dr Shahnaj Begum, health education officer of the civil surgeon's office Abdullah Al Shams, among others, were present.
The speakers stressed on mass consciousness to prevent HIV/AIDS.
