Chattogram: Police today arrested the alleged mastermind behind Yaba distribution across the country in the port city. The arrestee was identified as Md. Kamal Hossain, 34, son of late Zahir Ahmed Master of Sikdarpara in Sabrang village under Teknaf Police Station in Cox’s Bazar district.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Officer-in-Charge Ikhtiar Uddin of Baklia Police Station stated that earlier on August 26, police apprehended a drug trader, Md. Ahsan Habib, in the Baklia area along with 7,200 pieces of Yaba. Following information provided by Habib, police conducted a raid in Sikdarpara of Teknaf and arrested Kamal Hossain.
Kamal Hossain has been produced before court for legal action.
