Chattogram: Maritime ports of Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar, Mongla, and Payra have been advised to hoist local cautionary signal No 3 due to deep convection occurring over the North Bay. This advisory is in response to potential weather conditions that may develop in the region.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Met office has issued a press release indicating that the influence of this deep convection could result in gusty or squally weather affecting the maritime ports, the North Bay, and the adjoining coastal areas of Bangladesh. As a precautionary measure, all fishing boats and trawlers operating over the North Bay have been instructed to stay close to the coast and proceed with caution until further notice.
