Naogaon: A man was killed in a road accident at Biharinagar intersection under Dhamairhat upazila this morning. The deceased was Kamal Hossain, 40, son of freedom fighter Yad Ali, a resident of Uttar Chakjadu village of the upazila.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the accident took place on the Dhamairhat-Patnitala road around 7:30 am when a picnic bus hit a motorbike from the opposite direction, leaving bike rider Kamal dead on the spot. Raisul Islam, officer-in-charge of Dhamirhat Police Station, confirmed the incident.
Police have recovered the body and sent it to Naogaon Sadar Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
