Satkhira: A man lost his life and two others sustained injuries in a tragic road accident at the Mathurapur bypass intersection in Sadar upazila last night. The incident occurred when two motorcycles collided head-on, severely injuring all three riders involved.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the deceased has been identified as Selim Hossain, a 35-year-old resident of Jashore Municipality. The crash took place around 8:30 pm, leading to immediate chaos and concern among the witnesses at the scene.
Saminul Haque, the Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sadar Police Station, reported that the injured individuals were quickly transported to Sadar hospital. Despite medical efforts, Selim succumbed to his injuries, leaving the community grieving the loss of a resident. The condition of the other two injured riders remains closely monitored by medical professionals.
