Rangpur:A man was arrested with 378 pieces of Yaba tablets in Dudhiabari (Dakshinpara) village under Pirganj police station in Rangpur district.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Department of Narcotics Control (DNC) personnel conducted a search on Saturday night following a tip-off. The search led to the discovery of the contraband Yaba tablets in the man's bedroom, resulting in his arrest at 7:45 pm.
The arrestee has been identified as Nur Mohammad alias Nuru, 42, the son of Md Hasen Ali, from the same village. Following the arrest, Inspector of the DNC, Rangpur, M Eltas Uddin, filed a case and handed over Nuru along with the seized narcotics to Pirganj police station.
