Putrajaya: Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Adviser Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuiyan has announced that Malaysia has decided to recruit a substantial number of Bangladeshi workers in the near future. This development marks a significant opportunity for Bangladeshi workers seeking employment abroad.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Asif Mahmud noted on his verified Facebook account that Malaysia has committed to ensuring proper wages, security, and the overall welfare of these workers. This decision follows a recent meeting between Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment Adviser Dr Asif Nazrul and senior officials from the Malaysian Ministry of Human Resources in Putrajaya.
The discussions emphasized the importance of securing appropriate wages and benefits for existing Bangladeshi workers in Malaysia. Additionally, both parties aim to establish a balanced framework for recruiting new Bangladeshi workers under a transparent policy. This framework seeks to guarantee fair treatment and opportunities for workers, fostering a mutually beneficial relationship between the two countries.
