Dhaka:A low-pressure system is anticipated to develop over the central Bay of Bengal and adjacent areas, leading to light to moderate rain or thundershowers across Bangladesh for the next five days starting from 9 am Wednesday.
According to United News of Bangladesh, the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecasted that light to moderate rain or thundershowers, accompanied by temporary gusty winds, are likely in several regions. These include a few places in the Rangpur, Mymensingh, and Sylhet divisions, and one or two places in the Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, and Chattogram divisions.
Daytime temperatures are expected to remain relatively unchanged, while nighttime temperatures may decrease slightly across the country. The monsoon is currently less active in the southern and eastern parts of Bangladesh and is weak over the North Bay. Additionally, the southwest monsoon has already withdrawn from the western part of Bangladesh and is expected to withdraw from the remaining areas within the next 24 hours.
