Dhaka:The low pressure area over the Eastcentral and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal has intensified into a well-marked low over the Eastcentral Bay and its surrounding areas as of 6 am on Saturday.

According to United News of Bangladesh, this weather system is expected to move in a west-northwestward direction and may intensify further, as stated in a Met office bulletin. Consequently, all fishing boats and trawlers operating over the North Bay have been advised against venturing into the deep sea until further notice.

The regular Met office bulletin also mentions that rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty winds are likely at one or two places in the Chattogram division. In other areas of the country, the weather is expected to remain mainly dry with temporarily partly cloudy skies.

Day and night temperatures across the country are anticipated to remain nearly unchanged.
