Dhaka: The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecasted light to moderate rain or thunder showers, which may be accompanied by temporary gusty winds, across many areas of the country over the next 24 hours, starting from 9:00 am today. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the BMD bulletin highlights that regions including Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions are likely to experience these weather conditions. Additionally, Khulna and Barishal divisions might see rain or thunder showers at one or two places, with some areas potentially witnessing moderately heavy falls. The BMD has also predicted a slight rise in both day and night temperatures across the country. On the previous day, Rajshahi recorded the highest temperature at 35.0 degrees Celsius, while Bandarban experienced the lowest at 23.2 degrees Celsius. In the capital city, Dhaka, residents can expect the sun to set at 6:18 pm today and rise at 5:40 am tomorrow.
