Light to Moderate Rain Expected Across the Nation

Dhaka: The met office has forecasted light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by lightning flashes and temporary gusty wind at most places across the country in the next 24 hours, starting from 9:00 am this morning. The weather prediction indicates that several regions might experience varying intensities of rainfall.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the met office has also projected that some areas may witness moderately heavy to very heavy falls throughout this period. The weatherman, Dr. Md. Omar Faruq, has stated that both day and night temperatures are expected to rise slightly during this time frame.



The highest temperature recorded was 33 degrees Celsius in Mongla within the Khulna division on Thursday, while the lowest was 23.3 degrees Celsius in Tangail today. As for the capital, residents can expect the sun to set at 6:49 pm today and rise at 5:12 am tomorrow.
