Land Adviser Ali Imam Majumder Calls for Professionalism and Honesty in Public Service

Dhaka: Land Adviser Ali Imam Majumder has urged all concerned officials of the ministry to remain engaged in public service with utmost professionalism and honesty. He made this call during the certificate distribution and closing ceremony of the '139th Survey and Settlement Training Course' at the Bhumi Bhaban's seminar room in the capital.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Ali Imam Majumder emphasized the importance of establishing good governance in the land sector to provide people-friendly land services. He noted that while many things have changed over time, it is crucial to adjust to these changes and ensure proper services. He highlighted the need for dedication to public service, utilizing the knowledge acquired from training with professionalism and honesty.

In light of the current context, Ali Imam Majumder called upon everyone to collaborate to meet the expectations of the people. Addressing the trainees, he stressed the importance of practicing the knowledge gained from survey and settlement training. The event was attended by Land Ministry's Senior Secretary ASM Saleh Ahmed, Chairman (Secretary) of the Land Reforms Board ASM Salauddin Nagri, Chairman (Secretary) of the Land Appeal Board Mohammad Ibrahim, and other senior officials from the ministry and related departments.

The ceremony was presided over by Md Saidur Rahman, Director General of the Department of Land Records and Survey. The department conducts the Survey and Settlement Training annually for BCS (Administration, Police, Forest, and Railway) and Bangladesh Judicial Service officers in three batches.
