Labour Reform Commission Suggests Formulating Nat’l Plan to Create Skilled Workforce

Dhaka: The Labour Reform Commission has recommended formulating a national plan to create a skilled workforce in sectors related to the Fourth Industrial Revolution. This initiative aims to meet international market demands and attract foreign investment.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the commission presented its report to Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus at the State Guest House Jamuna on Monday. The report emphasizes launching a national skills development program to prepare workers in key technologies such as robotics, digital technology, cloud computing, 3D printing, and biotechnology.



The report further highlights the importance of coordinating the private sector with the needs of the global labor market and emerging industries to effectively develop a skilled workforce.
