Barishal: Thirty-three dengue patients were admitted to different hospitals across the country during the last 24 hours till this morning.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, during this period, 18 patients were hospitalized in Barishal division, five in Chattogram division, three in Dhaka division, two in Dhaka North, and five were admitted to different hospitals in Dhaka South, as stated in a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The total number of dengue cases has risen to 2,420, with 18 deaths from the disease reported this year. Last year, the total number of cases rose to 101,214, with 575 deaths from dengue disease reported, the statement added.
