Khulna:Khulna Metropolitan Police (KMP) Commissioner Sajjadur Rahman has called on police personnel to carry out their duties with utmost sincerity, vigilance, and restraint during the puja mandap duties.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the commissioner addressed the police officers at the police lines in Boyra, emphasizing the importance of their conduct to avoid any behavior or remarks that could offend religious sentiments or lead to undesirable situations.
He advised officers to promptly communicate with puja mandap committee members and supervising officers in case of any issues to ensure swift resolution. The commissioner also stressed the need for courage, confidence, and professionalism among the police personnel to ensure a peaceful and orderly celebration of Sharadiya Durga Puja.
Additional Police Commissioner Muhammad Shahnewaz Khaled, Deputy Police Commissioner M M Shakiluzzaman, and other senior KMP officials were present during the address.
