Chattogram: Notorious terrorist Monsure Ahmed, also known as killer Monsure, was apprehended in Barguna district for attacking students involved in an anti-discrimination movement in Chattogram. Acting on a tip-off, a team from Khulshi Police Station successfully arrested Monsure from Barguna Sadar upazila last night, as confirmed by sources from the public relations section of Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP).
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Monsure was accused of attacking students on August 4 in the city’s Lalkhan Bazar area during the anti-discrimination movement. Monsure is identified as a professional terrorist, extortionist, and robber. There are sixteen cases, including those of robbery and murder, pending against him with various police stations.
